3 Tips To Keep Your Sanity When The Future Feels Uncertain

Staying mentally strong during times of uncertainty can be difficult, but by following these tips you can maintain your sanity. First and foremost, it's important to remember that you are not alone. There are millions of people who have gone through similar experiences and survived.

There's a reason that people often talk about developing or  having  a "mental toughness." It can help you stay strong in the face of adversity. But when the future feels uncertain, it can be tough to keep your sanity. As a woman in business, you may feel like you're constantly on the edge of your seat. Between competitive markets and ever-changing technology, taking care of your family demands on all sides, it can feel like the future is uncertain.

Here are three tips to help you stay mentally strong and empowered:

Believe in yourself. No one is guaranteed a happy,  prosperous successful future, but that doesn't mean you have to give up on yourself. It means you have the power and control. You and only you are in charge of your own happiness. Though it is easier said than done, remember that you have control over your own thoughts and emotions. Don't let the uncertainty of the future cause you to doubt yourself or your abilities. Make the decision to seek out what brings you joy no matter what.

Keep your goals in sight. Second, focus on what you really do want not what you don't. Focus on what can control and don't worry about things you can't. My mentor Jack Canfield taught me a really simple formula...

E + R =O  Events+ Response = Outcome

We are not in control of the events that happen in our life only our response when we change our response we can influence the outcome.

This will help keep you from feeling overwhelmed and stressed out.

When times get tough, it's easy to lose focus on your goals. However, keeping your goals in sight will help you stay motivated during difficult times.

Write down your goals and post them where you can see them every day. This will help you stay focused and motivated.

Take time for yourself.  Third, take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are human beings, not superhuman machine doers. Being a human being is complex  at times and we need to take time to nourish our whole being. Make sure you get plenty of exercises, drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep and find ways to manage stress such as yoga or meditation.

It's important to take time for yourself, even when times are tough. When you're stressed out, it's difficult to focus on your work or goals. Make sure to take some time each day to relax and unwind.

In conclusion, remember to take really good care of yourself, you need to ask for help. So many of the high-achieving women I work with don't ask for help and they get angry that no one else is working as hard as they are. People do not know what you need don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Staying mentally strong is not easy, but it is possible. You have to stay connected with friends and family who will support you during this time. Lean on them for emotional support when needed. Leaning on people is not natural for strong driven business leaders but it is needed through tough seasons of life and business. So lean on them when needed, and remember that you are not alone in this journey. Stay strong, and keep fighting for your dreams. You are worthy of your dreams and you were the one given your dreams for a reason. You were born to achieve your dreams even when the world feels unstable and uncertain.
