Physical or Paper Planner

Physical planner or virtual planner...which do you prefer?

I'm a paper and pencil kinda gal but I love using click up digitally to track our big projects and help bring clarity and overall sanity.

Paper planners provide a sense of accomplishment when you complete the tasks you outlined for yourself. They also allow you to reflect on your work and progress in a physical space that can be shared with others. I love the satisfaction of checking things off my list, it just feels great to do this. ✅

Virtual planners, on the other hand, allow you to set alerts for events, set reminders, and organize your priorities into subcategories and mini steps without having to carry around a giant planner like paper planners. They also provide easy access to your entire calendar at once to share with your team and add in things when you are on the go.

The benefits of a physical planner are that it is portable, you can easily change the paper in case you mess up, and it is inexpensive. The benefits of virtual planners are that they are easy to set up, there is no way to lose your data, and they can be synced with all your devices.

Since I am a paper and pencil kinda gal I use my paper planner to plan out my week and check things off. However, I love using click-up digitally to track our big projects and help bring clarity and an overall strategy so that my whole team can stay on track and communicate effectively.

As we continue to grow and add people to our team some of  whom may be  just starting out in the workforce, I have found that using a virtual planner program has helped me to coach train, and organize my time more efficiently. It's also made it easier for me to team members how to project manage and see the big picture of what we are all working on together.

I will always still love my paper planners because they are great for writing down immediate tasks, and this really helps my learning style remember things but they don't provide enough room for bigger projects or many tasks at once.

ClickUp has helped me to see what's next without losing track of any projects or other deadlines.

So the answer to this debate is both for me, but I highly encourage you to figure out what works best for you and your growing team.
