3 Simple Steps to Achieving Your Goals

I am sure you are sick of setting goals and then not actually achieving them. I know I used to get so frustrated  and so stressed before I figured out the secret recipe to goal setting success. 

Here are 3 steps in my goal setting success process:


#1 Developing Achievable Goals   

Make sure the time you have allotted is actually achievable. I am all about making sure your goals stretch you and scare you a little but they need to be things that can be achieved. Not by everyone but achieved by you.

#2 Creating A Plan To Achieve Your Goals

Make an actual plan of how you  will  achieve them. Without this your goal is just a wish that we need a fairy godmother to make it happen. Though that would be amazing, doing our part and creating a plan is always a step in the right direction of achieving your goals.

#3 Implementing A Plan To Achieve Your Goals

Break it down into steps you can start implementing right away to really start building momentum.

Really great questions to ask yourself....

 How can you create a plan to achieve your goals? We are all different so what can you do to actually achieve this.

Why is it important to implement your plan? You need to be clear about why this is important to you.

You may have some goals that you are not moving towards or they have just been difficult to achieve.

Maybe that goal is not yet easily achievable, or you need to make it smaller, or the goal is too vague. Be as specific as possible if you want to get there quickly.

You should try to break your goals into a series of small steps that are achievable and measurable. 

Here are some steps to break down a larger goal into more manageable bite size chunks:

-Break down your large goal into a series of smaller goals or bite size pieces

-Set an end date for each of these smaller goals and assign deadlines for them before the end date -

Create a list of all the things you need to do in order to achieve your smaller goals (these can be sub-steps)

-Schedule time each day and week towards completing these steps on your goal list
